Getting his start in music at age 12, this Wisconsin Rapids native has been a showman and entertainer ever since.  Softcore mixes a unique blend of breakcore, hardcore, idm, experimental, dubstep, and drum and bass inspired by such legends as Mark N and Enduser.  On a rare day you may even see him play a little techno if you’re lucky.  Every now and then he remembers his roots.
When Mikey’s not planning the next “Break Thursday” night at the Mercury Lounge with Dj Dissolvent, you can find Softcore washin’ windows, eating fast food and mooing.  THIS IS MOO CORE NATION!!
Mikey trys to add a different style of music and culture to the scene through magic shows done with James the Magician, and pushing the envelope on a genre that is seldom understood.  Catch him before he goes hunting…   for trollups.
